Chek Wingo (Director/Editor) is the editor and cinematographer of The Penobscot: Ancestral River, Contested Territory (Maine Public Broadcasting Network, New England Documentary Emmy Award Nominee). He has directed several short documentary films, is an award-winning nature photographer, and serves as audio engineer at the Pierre Monteux School for conductors and orchestra musicians. He grew up in Washington County, graduated from Colgate University, and now lives in Blue Hill, Maine.
Jim Picariello (Writer/Producer/Actor) is a screenwriter, who recently earned Quarter-Finalist status in the 2015 Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Contest with his romantic-comedy script, The Cult of Us. He works as an Instructional Designer at Maine Maritime Academy, and continues to demonstrate his near-genius decision making skills by trying to break into the entertainment industry from rural, coastal Maine.
Jennifer Shepard (Actor) is originally from Omaha, NE, graduated from the University of Iowa and then moved to Chicago to study improvisational comedy. During her time in Chicago she studied at iO, The Annoyance Theatre and The Playground. In 2004,she moved to Maine with her husband, Larrance Fingerhut, to open ImprovAcadia in Bar Harbor. She’s had the opportunity to perform sketch and improv comedy all over the world working for The Second City on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Recently she’s decided to remain in Maine for the winter to teach at College of the Atlantic, perform at Penobscot Theater, and to enjoy the frigid tundra.
